ANGELO DI SPIRITO ROSA

Founded in 2011 by Vassilis & Mariangela Tricardos, Angelo di Spirito Rosa presented its first collection on a summer night at a charity event in Mykonos island. It was completely sold out within a few hours. What followed was an unprovoked viral word-of-mouth communication that gave the brand immediate recognition. Part due to the branding and part due to trademark packaging, they were soon known as the Alchemists of Jewellery. Mariangela is a graduate of Parsons the New School for Design with a major in Fashion Marketing and she is currently studying Fashion Merchandising at Academy of Art University, San Francisco. She is a driven and aspiring designer, who her passion of the Renaissance era drove her to transform the classical rosaries into beautiful and elegant designs inspired by the femininity of 1920’s. She is known within the brand as the Witch of Design. Vasileios, the Chief Alchemist, is the CEO of the company and mind behind the packaging and branding. He studied Business Management in European Business School in London and Paris and majored in Strategic Management and Marketing. He is currently also in the BoD of Tricardos Companies which are one of the largest suppliers in Greece for chemical raw materials and factory installations.
