Angela Thurnherr is an upcoming womenswear fashion designer located in Zurich Switzerland whom graduated from the Academy of Arts and Design, Basel, with a BA degree in fashion design in early 2015. Her clothing is aimed to bring colour and humour to the world of fashion. By designing multi-coloured prints based on unconventional inspirations as well as by generating new fabric surfaces she develops unique and modern silhouettes for independent and fun-loving women.
The skills she developed during an intern-ship at Henrik Vibskov in CPH, 2013/14, support her contemporary work.

THE CURIOUS CAP COLLECTOR

The Curious Cap Collector is a contemporary Autumn / Winter 2015 womenswear capsule collection that explores the style of elderly women. The shapes are inspired by the idea of redesign the nostalgic elements such as collecting coffee-cream caps (which is an old Swiss tradition/hobby). In addition, the colourful look of the outfit banishes the darkness of winter and it's depression from mind and sight.
