Anel Rinat

Anel Rinat is a jewelry artist from Barcelona, originally from Kazakhstan.

Because of living her adolescent life in a post soviet country in a search of its ethnology, her works also represent the balance of constructivism, the austerity and the apparent purpose of the pieces with the oriental/nomad culture colorite, symbolism and traditions.

What she considers important is that jewelry should avoid representing only the aesthetics, the importance of precious stones and noble metal, but bare the concept and underline personality of the consumer.
It is self-expression, statement, the wearer connects to what the piece presents, sees him/herself reflected in the idea.

She does all the pieces herself handmade and often uses besides traditional metals, plastic, wood and rocks.
