ANA FAYE

Ana Faye is an award wining Irish handbag designer.

Having graduated from the Limerick school of Art and Design, Ana won the prestigious Persil Designer of the year award in 2004 and so invested the prize to further her education at Central Saint Martins in London, specialising in Innovative Pattern Cutting. Ana previously worked in London, Italy and China and in 2008 her love of handbags and passion to design meant she returned to her home town in Co. Sligo and set up her very own label- Ana Faye. 'I wanted to set up a Designer Accessories label for along time that was strictly made in limited numbers so I could guarantee my customers that they would not see everyone with the same bag. This is very important to me, that I am giving my customers their right to express their own individual through Limited edition Designer Pieces and bespoke orders.'

The label received instant recognition with the fashion elite and in 2009 won her the Best New Product award at Showcase Ireland, wining Best Product in the Fashion, Knitwear and Accessories category.

Ana uses high quality Italian leather to create her sculptural shapes combining them with clashing colour- ways so to create eye catching additions to any woman's arm. Using traditional techniques with a contemporary twist, each one of the limited edition pieces are created and carefully made by Ana herself in her craft studio located in Strandhill, on the beautiful and scenic West coast of Ireland. Ana has experimented greatly in order to produce multifunctional elements to ordinary bags and so successfully empowering the woman with a versatility to wear her designs confidently.

Ana Faye is constantly evolving in the design world and is looking forward to introducing new members to her already loved accessory family.
