As a British fabric and accessory designer, Amelia translates thought-provoking concepts into an anthology of pieces for adorning the body. She focusses work on her passionate interest in sustainability and the environment, additional to ideas inspired by a crossover of art and technology. She works with digital design and printed textiles, drawn to unusual colour palettes, contrasting materials and conceptual methods of visual development. Experimental film, textures and abstract photography are part of the creative process to producing final pieces.
The accessory style often appears fragile, yet with closer inspection the qualities are opposing but still maintaining intricacy. Manufacture techniques include a process of tentative dying, bonding and heat pressing. These result in a collection of unconventional and diverse ranges of materials.
