THE STORY BEHIND ALY AND RACHELLE

The inspiration behind the brand ‘Aly and Rachelle’ originated from the fascination of identical twins; how can two people look so similar yet with seemingly different personalities and styles. We thought we would explore this conception by creating Aly and Rachelle as twin sisters. Both are sophisticated and beautiful women but both unique in their own ways and fashion.

Aly is the slightly elder of the two, she has a darker personality which gives her an edgy and sexy look which is reflected in her style of hair and makeup whilst Rachelle is the younger one with a purity and innocence, she desires a more dreamy and feminine look compared with her sister. This concept has been reflected in all of our collections to date.

Founded in 2011 in the UK and Hong Kong, Aly and Rachelle prides itself as being an affordable luxury brand for the entry level designer market. Our aim is simple; to create high quality and timeless pieces that are unique and beautiful. This has been achieved through attention to detail, faultless craftsmanship and the finest quality of materials. Our creative Director, Christine Lam has a wealth of experience in producing high quality timeless designs, having studied fashion at Central Saint Martins she went on to work for brands such as Agent Provocateur, Alexander McQueen and Moshino Koshino. With this experience, she has bought in the ethic that quality fabrics are vital in creating sophisticated and distinctive fashion.
