Alpha Cruxis

Since it’s 2013 debut, Alpha Cruxis has defined itself as a truly unique and exciting newcomer to the premium accessories market.
Launched in Berlin by Australian designer Rebecca Martin, Alpha Cruxis brings the time-honoured tradition of leather working into the now, using traditional techniques to create truly modern forms.
Artisanally hand-crafted in Berlin from the finest Italian vegetable tanned Full Grain leather, over 20 processes go into the making of each piece, from marking and cutting, to edge finishing and saddle stitching.
With a strong and instantly recognisable aesthetic, Alpha Cruxis celebrates the form itself as ornament; our faceted geometric shapes, strikingly bold and pared back to the essentials.
In our third season for SS15, we drew on the Pyramid Coin Purse from our debut collection, bringing together a succinct, unisex range of small pieces; an iPhone case, a coin purse, and 2 wallets; wearable, practical ornaments; statement pieces for everyday life.
Each season our collection grows, with the addition of new pieces and an increasing consideration of unisex styles. Expect to see a continuation of this throughout future collections, as we develop pieces for both men and women with the signature Alpha Cruxis aesthetic.
Tasmanian born Rebecca Martin graduated with First Class Honours from the Bachelor of Design (Fashion) at the Royal Melbourne University of Technology, Melbourne, Australia. Rebecca relocated to Europe in 2011, interning at Danish avant-garde label Barbara i Gongini before settling in Berlin.
