Aloes

Aloes is a fashion label focusing on promoting Indonesia's traditional culture and heritage of Batik with a modern twist that fits day-to-day mode of fashion. It was established at the end of 2015 with Instagram-based platform, it is designed and made locally with materials imported from both Indonesia and overseas. Aloes applies the wabi-sabi approach when creating and designing products. We appreciate simplicity in materials, and aim to design products that comes with age by incorporating the plain with patterns. When both are combined, we are mixing tradition and modern in a piece, aiming to create sustainable products that hold its beauty as time passes by.
