Pirra Griffiths is the founder and creative talent behind Allerton Swimwear. Allerton is borne out of a desire to create swimwear that is both functional and fashion forward.
Allerton launched just a year ago at SWIMMIAMI in July 2015, as part of Miami Swim Week and was immediately followed by an early release of the collection into the UK Market. Allerton was nominated Best Fashion Start Up by global trend forecasting agency WGSN, identifying Allerton as a key emerging swimwear label. Allerton is now stocked globally from local leading online retailer The ICONIC to House of Fraser in UK, and a number of swimwear speciality boutiques internationally.
Pirra designs Allerton with a minimal and functional approach resulting in the ultimate blend of sports luxe, combining a smooth balance of fashion and function.

Pirra is passionate about creating an alternative to damaging and wasteful fashion, with a focus on Ethical and Environmental Production, each piece is hand made locally in Sydney from ecofriendly, high quality, chlorine resistant and regenerated Italian Lycra and reclaimed fabric.

IMPACT

Impact is Allerton’s 2018/19 Summer Collection, an extension of Allerton’s signature effortlessly sporty style with a fresh mix of optimism and self expression.
Allerton’s focus is on making an impact, but with shapes that are minimal, striking and also versatile enough to be worn outside the pool.
With a retro athletica vibe, Impact explores Allerton’s streetwear influence with multi-function pieces, ties, lacing and clean, high impact shapes which can literally take you from Swim to Gym to Street.
Allerton encourages women to demand more; high quality,
high-end design, ethically manufactured and
multi-purpose wear.
