Collection depicts the Russian realities of what is happening outside the capital city, how people live there and how they look like. Even today, in many regions of Russia, people do not have the opportunity to access the Global Internet, travel and see the world. All they have access to is local city markets, where the assortment is limited. Traveling around Russia, I came to the conclusion that these people inspire me, time is powerless over them, they do not have Internet access, so there is no way to follow any trends. People live freely, they like the way they look and this is their manifesto. They build fashion by themselves. Russia has been in incognito mode for a long time, we don’t have many fashionable moments in history, but the fact that our country is multicultural, multinational and different from edge to edge forms the fashion as it is.
Russia is not only Moscow, and it is impossible to dictate fashion all over the country, people themselves build it with their own efforts, their power in a particular city or region. But in the capital city, people try to follow modern trends, Moscow is a city of stereotypes, here everyone is trying to run for ideality, living in a stereotypical cell. If you went beyond - you lose. Here people look at each other to evaluate and criticize. Moscow citizens do not to love visitors and they poke a finger at them, even if they themselves have recently moved here from their hometown.
Fashion is how you feel. Who, and why, dictates the frames what is fashionable and stylish, and what is not? The fusion of style with comfort and self confidence can be seen in the daily life of the regions, which is very inspiring.
