Born in Hamburg and raised in Milan, Alexandra holds a B.A. (hons) in economics.

Antarctica

The bags of the Antarctica collection show a simple elegance and are specially designed and named with the fragile and beautiful ecosystem of the Antarctic in mind: Antarctic Summer stands for the radiant white of the snow and ice as well as the brightness of the sun, almost always present in the Antarctic summer. Antarctic Dawn shows the wonderful, purple-yellow-coloured mood at sunset, while Antarctic Winter stands for the absolute darkness and apparent silence during the winter months. Antarctic Moss is supposed to surprise, remembering small plants that survive in and under the ice layer and which deserve special attention.

ALEXANDRA SVENDSEN supports environmental protection projects and organizations that work for the "renaturation" of the world's oceans and especially the coral reefs.
