Alex Ulichny, born 1989 in Wisconsin, tells a story with each collection by using time consuming, hand-executed sewing techniques paired with innovative materials and deep concept research. Creating garments for a conceptual world, he sees beauty in imperfection, and his work is often rooted in his love of romanticism.

Represented by the Blow Presents division of Blow PR in London, his collections have been presented internationally, including at Red Fish Factory in Antwerp, and at The Art Institute of Chicago.

After graduating from the Fashion Department of the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, he won the Eunice W Johnson Fellowship and traveled to Antwerp, Amsterdam and Paris. In 2012, he interned at Iris van Herpen, producing the Spring 2013 Haute Couture collection. In 2013, He interned at Viktor & Rolf working as Design Atelier, producing the Fall 2013 Ready to Wear and the Fall 2013 Haute Couture collections.

He collaborates with various stylists, photographers, textile designers, and studio artists. His work has been featured in ASVOF, Belmodo, Daily Mail, E!, Elle Korea, Financial Times, Free Magazine, Huffington Post, Institute Magazine, International Business Times, Models.com, Morfae, MTV, Muuse, NPR, NY Daily News, OK-Magazine.de, Puretrend, TUSH Magazine and Visionaire.com.
