ALESSIA TONOLO

Alessia Tonolo was born in Mirano, in the province of Venice. The instinct and passion for design led her to graduate from Artistic High School, but since the childhood her goal has been clear: fashion. During her educational path several professional experiences followed one another, together with her decision to specialize through the three year course in Fashion Design and Multimedia Arts at IUAV University in Venice. In 2008 she won the competition organized by the Fashion Design Center in Ichinomiya (Japan), a competition that brought her in the land of the rising sun for a few weeks. In this place her love for the Oriental culture has expanded, and this passion has changed her way of thinking about the dress. According to Alessia there are infinite forms, fabrics, materials, colors, styles, and there are infinite possible ways to build a dress; but in the choice lies her taste, style, and personality. To this date she is collaborating with various studios of design consultancy and she deals with her limited edition eponymous clothing line.
