Aleix Martínez Clavell was born in Barcelona (16/10/1995).
After high school graduation, he started studying fashion design in IED Barcelona (2013-17). During the fourth year, he presented his Thesis Collection, "Blow". Also during this year, he started working as creative codirector at Menchén Tomàs, a brand based in Barcelona that produces ready to wear collections and couture and made-to-measure garments. Menchén Tomàs presents its collections during the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in Madrid.

Blow

The World during the years of the "belle époque" was living a dream, envolved by sparkling lights and champagne bubbles.
Taking its inspiration from that dreamy world, "Blow" presents a project ruled by contrasts, which you can see in the colours, silhouettes and textures.
Fabrics often associated with aristocracy (silk velvets and dupions) are brutally mixed with elements from the bohemian life, and the most classical silhouettes are surprisingly transformed by unimaginable garments. Colours such as royal blue, emerald green and gold bring the collection to life.
