Aiker creates garments for the contemporary woman, unbound by
a singular purpose in society and innately multidimensional.

Born and raised in Almaty, Kazakhstan, Aiker grew up in a
family of scientists who embraced a passion for beauty,
femininity and imagination. Being surrounded by empowered
women helped her to understand that traditional practices and
creativity were not mutually exclusive. This allowed Aiker to
uncover the dominant themes in her current practice, while
working for Haider Ackermann, A.F. Vandervorst and showing at
Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Prague provided her the space to
hone in on her craft.

As a 2022 graduate from the Royal Academy of Fine Arts Antwerp
Fashion Department, Aiker seeks to create one sustainable
collection each year using deadstock materials, local handmade
production and 3D printed footwear to eliminate waste. Her
current graduate collection titled “Office Martini”, takes
inspiration from the women in Kazakhstan who live two
juxtaposing realities—entrenched by an office job during the
day and professional dancing at night. This duality is
explored through the collection’s monochrome palette, sharp
tailoring, cheeky silhouettes and playful patterns and
textures.
