My name is Yasuri Mayari, I am a Cuban settled in southern Spain. An economist by profession and designer adoption in mid-2013 decided to let my creativity flourish resulting in an explosion of healthy designs. The brand was born due to my strong will and intention to make my dream come true. Even though I studied economy, Fashion has always been my hobby and deep passion, so I decided to make the most of it, and soon it became my job. It was life which made me choose Sustainable Fashion. At first, my intention was to use natural and vintage fabrics, brought from Florence, for my designs. I was not really aware that it was called "Sustainable Fashion", so soon, I started doing some research, studying and finally made the decision to set an Eco-luxury brand. AIBY Craft was basically born after considering the lack of Eco-luxury brands currently existing in the market.

Latest Collection

La Maniera

This first collection we have called “La Maniera”, in honor of how ancient craftsmen worked and seamstresses in the region of Andalusia. It is our way not to leave forgotten the ancient techniques practiced many communities in Peru, Chile and India. It is a way to honor and maintain the craft traditions of the art of weaving, sewing and leather goods.

With this collection we contribute to a collaborative project between communities of fair trade in the regions of Bolivia and India with a great cultural tradition to the Knitting and women at risk of social exclusion and difficult access to the labor market in the region of Andalucia for the manufacture of garments. In AIBY Craft we wanted to innovate by mixing different forms of sustainability in fashion. We work organic and eco-friendly fabrics, upcycling by mixing vintage pieces, from fair trade materials, woven fabrics and fish skins. Not forgetting the design sophistication. Sustainability does not have to be at odds with the style. So in AIBY Craft we believe in responsible luxury.

“La Maniera” is our tribute to all those who are committed to another “maniera” of doing things.
