Agata Reis began her career studying fashion design at University for the Creative Arts. Agata Reis had the opportunity to work in design for several years before being inspired to start Agata Reis clothing line to fulfill her lifelong dream and launch her Sunshine line, at African Fashion Week London, in 2013.
When Agata is designing, she is inspired by shape, architecture and color. Every design focuses on how she can flatter a real woman's body and thoughtfully design clothing that every body type can wear. Agata Reis is the first Angolan designer to show at African Fashion Week in London, to which became a surprise for most.
Agata believes in the importance of community involvement, inspiring others and giving back. When she is not designing, she is the CEO of Barnet's Creative Enterprise Social Club an community organisation. Inspiring the community to support the art and crafts, she also teaches and mentors other fashion designers.
