ÆMONA

ÆMONA is an independent fashion brand based in Slovenia. The women’s fashion brand was created with the aim of combining digital and physical fashion. The advantages of digital prototyping and tailoring are often used in the production of physical garments. ÆMONA is the project of fashion designer Anika Opara, who started her fashion journey at the undergraduate program of textile and clothing design at the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Engineering in Ljubljana and continued it at the postgraduate study of fashion design - womenswear at the Istituto Marangoni in Milan. All clothes are made in small batches with the help of local seamstresses in Slovenia. The clothes are made of quality materials, which are often decorated with original prints. The garments are made with a contemporary interpretation of classic pieces, which often interferes with breaking the traditional form, but preserves the elements of traditional tailoring.
