A1J is a London based brand created by Yue Yang, a Kam minority from Beijing. before starting a1j, Yue finished her ma degree of bio-textile in london and 3 years learning of menswear in milan. yue introduced a1j's first collection in 2020 called "bunny god". it was a collection about independent women and their private lives. still focusing on independent women, yue has created a second collection called "pond".

Pond

"Pond" is a collection about the lifetime of a pond. In the middle of the Sahara desert, There used to be the biggest pond on planet earth. Million years later it became the Sahara desert. Back then the pond went directly into the Atlantic Ocean through a river, now tons of sand including fish bone particles travel from the Sahara desert into the Atlantic Ocean every year. Even after the pond vanishes, it somehow remains in another form. and eventually all the fish will return to the ocean through air.

This collection took inspiration from the pond in the Sahara desert and combined it with the spirit of womanhood. It used elements of fish bones, plants and water drops throughout the collection. The life of a pond is about infinity and continuation, while A1J IS A BRAND ABOUT CELEBRATING FREEDOM AND POWER. This collection is giving women the power to dress however they like.
