THE BRAND

Dur Doux, pronounced (dur “do”), translates to Hard/Soft. The label was built on the concept of wearability with an avant-garde sensibility. Dur Doux’s signature comprises of unexpected shapes, details and fabrications. The essence is strong, sensual and feminine and gives a powerful edge to sophistication. A new interpretation for shape is born with a unique balance created by the play of hard and soft elements.

THE COLLECTION

DARK FICTION is a capsule collection that is post apocalyptic in nature with hints of sci-fi. The collection is centered around a woman in a post-apocalyptic future and what her wardrobe would look like after this catastrophic event. The clothing tells this woman’s story of starting anew and rebuilding her life through her wardrobe.

The contrast between hard and soft, transparent and solid reflects the tension between the past and the future and the uncertainty of the present.
