Dasha Babaeva

The brand "Dasha Babaeva" was founded in 2015 in St. Petersburg by Dasha Babaeva. The debut took place in 2015 at St. Petersburg Fashion Week. In 2016 Dasha became a winner of the international competition BENEXT, and received a personal show of her collection ss-17 at Mercedes Benz Tbilisi as a prize.
The brand ID is the creation of unusual leather jackets and trench coats from different materials: eco-leather, cotton, knitwear, as well as a mix of these materials with silk and organza. Nowadays leather jackets are no longer associated with subcultures, they have become an important part of a basic wardrobe.
The spring-summer 17 collection is an example of intelligent design, expressed through deconstruction and asymmetry and emphasized by the use of glossy surfaces and grunge aesthetics.
