For Philippine Fashion Week Holiday 2009, Yako Reyes entitled his collection "SOLARIS". This is his attemot to design, develop and offer the local market the first Philippine-made solar bags. This 35 piece-collection coomprises of duffles, his signature hooded backpack, totes with signature umbrella holders, sling and belt bags with 8 bags with solar panels and chargers which can provide power to cellphones, digital cameras, and other small electronic gadgets. Clothes are minimal, sturctured pieces with Military Japanese minimalist feel.
