The circular nature of the upcycling couture collection "TRA TERRA E CIELO” stems from the idea of circularity and the position of our bodies in the panorama. There are many sayings in Italian that contemplate both the earth and the sky, such as non stare né in cielo né in terra. The inspiration of this upcycling couture collection comes while the designer was walking through the streets of the Lomé market in 2019 (Togo). There are no boundaries between earth and sky and we, as human beings, with the horizon and the clouds, are in the middle of this invisible circular connection.
