The walls closing in body and mind respond by separation from themselves. Layers peel away like old paint, exposing a new form that lies underneath - Rift is a collection made with inspiration from the anatomical body and how it reacts in different situations, mentally and physically. Claustrophobia, psoriasis and the idea of the shedding of skin have given inspiration to various shapes, textures and silhouettes. Using imagery from this inspiration, three looks were created in a lineup made in a collage-sketching technique using only tape.
