My great grandparent's started a siderurgy workshop in their farmhouse in a tiny town in the Basque Country. I was fascinated by how the household transitioned from being an agricultural house into 'modernity'. Both the family life and work life had to coexist, and their wardrobe reflected this collision. i examined family archives and balenciaga's use of volume in the 50's and 60's to create a collection that reimagines work wear.
