On a trip to Barcelona, Momo watched a show by a traditional Spanish Circus Troupe, a theatre, circus and cabaret performance which fused adult, macabre humour with scary and funny or silly stories. Amused by its' irreverent but amusing tone, and the ornate tent it was performed in emblazoned with beautiful imagery of snakes and other legendary creatures, Momo created a fairytale of her own. A show staged by the dead, in a dark enchanted forest – a "Cirque Macabre". The show was very popular, but the highlight was the dancing snakes show and trapeze artists.
