during the time when minjae was pursuing her ba in royal academy of fine arts antwerp, minjae treated problematic issues from society such as labor environments, this time a immigrant issue.

she was inspired by immigrant who live in countries as a foreigner while keeping their own heritage, living in a mixed culture reality. she translated korean traditional costume into silhouettes and mixed them up to create a new contemporary style. she also added a futuristic falir to express her hope for a brighter future.
