Palmyrah trees grow wild in the northern part of Sri Lanka. The long leafs of this graceful palms are used by the local women to weave products of many kinds.

We truly found inspiration in the beauty of the Palmyrah scenery of the Jaffna landscape and its ancient handicraft.
