'The Equals’ is a women’s wear collection for Spring/Summer 2016 which is inspired by the status system and poor-rich gap in the Joseon Dynasty of Korea, which began in the 1392 and ended in the 1864. During the period of the Joseon dynasty; citizens were classified upon birth into different levels according to where they came from. The main feature of this status is that it was hereditary ruled by the blood relation. The system was divided into four parts: “Yang” Ban represented the nobility, “Jung In” the middle class, “Sang Min” the commoner and “Cheon Min” the vulgar-commoner.
