"das Auge isst mit" - "feast for the eyes"

“Headless People” not only appear in the artworks of the Surrealists, but also in our everyday language. In my collection I have literally envisioned such German language idioms (figures of speech, proverbs, etc.) and word compositions in accessories, clothing details and materials. The word becomes an image and shows how alive and surreal our everyday language is. With my designs I consciously underscore the self-ironical, yet elegant attitude of their wearer, who always moves through the world with a wink of the eye and on “crow's feet.”
