Inspired by the photography of Irina Ionesco - erotic, sensual, and innocent, yet dark and hauntingly beautiful – the newest collection from Audrey Akman has been designed as an embodiment of the contradiction and conflict between good and bad – and the transition from innocence to enlightenment.

Ionesco’s most famous highly controversial work featured morally questionable portrayals of her daughter – which while some have viewed as child exploitation, others have hailed as sheer brilliance in their creativity and enmeshment of two contrasting worlds.
