NEWFOUNDLAND

NEWFOUNDLAND

Sixteenth century. Newfoundland. Canadian coast. The San Juan ship crosses the Atlantic Ocean looking for whales to hunt. The longboats go after the cetacean. They land at Red Bay, where only the skeletons remain. Exhausted and weather-beaten after months at sea, the hunters return to their homeland. They go back to the Basque Country. Inspired by the Basque whalers, NEWFOUNDLAND is a men’s collection that seeks to bring the aesthetics of these fishermen to today’s modern man. It combines technical and fluid fabrics. It adds maroon to the usuals black and white.
