EXPERIMENT 01 is the name of Nabil Volkers’ debut collection. True to the dark thematic styling of his brand, this collection divulges into how he handles his personal demons; drawing creative inspiration from themes covering human experimentation to the fallen angel enigma. 20 looks were sent down the runway; strong and gender fluid silhouettes ranging from oversized, boxy cuts to lab-inspired garments from Area 51. The structured silhouettes were artfully shaped from nylon, neoprene and black mesh; Nabil exhibiting his affinity towards synthetic fabrics for this collection.
