Sprouts that appear in cracks in the asphalt, branches that cling to high-voltage
cables, flowers that break into party walls, trees that raise sidewalks, disruptive
gestures of an organism that persist despite the ravages of the weather and the
hostility of the environment. I am fascinated by that impulse of life and the capacity
for resistance. Nature seeks and finds its place in unexpected spaces, managing to
beautify them with its vitality.
