I have always believed that we all share
roots. I have always believed that at
some point in our history we all
belonged to one tribe. That we all lived
together, having Africa (originally named Alkebulan) as our home.
Postcards from Africa was then conceptualised under that
understanding. It was born under an
idea that if we all were once together, doesn't it then make logical sense that we now miss each other. This collection therefore then becomes an
expression of that longing to reconnect with each other.
