After reading about a bill being put forward in East Africa to ban the import of second-hand clothing,
I was very impacted by the effect our clothes remain having after they have been produced
and used in the West. This global circulation of garments lead me to think about the still remaining effects of colonisation in in the world, a time when western colonist would have forced or through social status pressured others to dress by western etiquette.
