Fiongal’s second collection, Fringe Frater S/S '11 is a playful, sophisticated take on classic masculine styling with emphasis on fine, tailored pieces and clever detailing. In contrast with the quintessential British influences of his first collection The Pop Society, Fringe Frater has elements of a youthful ‘all-American’, preppy aesthetic – combining the slim-line, casual shapes and fabrics of a clean-cut Ivy League look with contrasting grown up boxy, draped silhouettes of late 80s/ early 90s Italian suiting.
