The Camilla Mikama autumn/winter 2013/14 collection is named simply “U”. It literally describes its source of inspiration,
the U-shape, which is used in many different ways. The U-shape appears in graphic cuts that may even look like optical illusions. In some pieces, overlapping U-shapes create 3-dimensional layering, and in the coat and a suede dress the shape is used in 3-dimensional pleating.
