THAW is inspired by the ebb of frozen tides on Nova Scotian shores in the wintertime and the inevitable arrival of spring. The garments and accessories, worn by Camerata Xara Young Women's Choir, were set against an aural and ever-moving visual landscape of deliberated singing and choreography, further enhancing the major motif of cracking ice and thawing shorelines.
