Erika Positano, Italian, educated in different schools around Europe. Her designs comes from a passion of storytelling in a underground universe made of music, movies and photography . She works researching atmospheres whose intimate, rough, authentic and naive telling her stories through the cure of every detail, material, print and shape of her clothes. Her pieces are characterized by a innate contrast between a rough/punk aesthetic mixed with the Italian attitude that stands for quality and distinction.

Rave tapes

Rave Tapes is my bachelor project realized during the last semester at Politecnico di Milano. The collection is first inspired to the German film/book “Wir kinder vom Bahnof Zoo” the story of Christiane F. the youngest heroin addicted in the early 70's.
The collection is inspired to the city of Berlin its athmospheres, its grey big building as Gropiusstadt the home of Christiane and to memorable characteristic details that chached my attention in the movie.
Christiane F. was also a style inspiration for my collection, I choosed to have some general reference to her style as her straight shilouhette, the bomber jackets, denim, little tops and the way she shows her skin.
