Designer Shone Puipia revisits his graduate collection of the same title, “The Wild Bunch”, for this collaboration of his very first handbags design project. Taking inspiration from Peter Weir’s 1975 film Picnic at Hanging Rock, Shone tells a new story of a group of Victorian school girls who disappeared mysteriously in the wild. Where did they go and what happened to them? “The Wild Bunch” became an exploration of the ‘wild’ and ‘daring’ side of femininity, resulting in a surreal, multi-layered and textural collection.
