shannen maria samuel is ‘small-town’ independent designer based in south london.
originating from the isle of man, shannen often builds her concept surrounding the reminiscent throwbacks of islander life & superstitions. with her “throwbacks & throwaways” ethos - she combines waste materials & disregarded clothing into playful one off garments with an eerie twist and a intriguing story to tell
as well as developing her own collection, shannen is also founder of hybrid merchandise & events brand @bemerge & the @feroartscollective art activism community.
