Beginning with a strong military impact, ‘ARMOR’ was influenced by the natural environment and its close bond with the military, particularly in camouflage and concealment. As a result, a fully sustainable practice began to take control of my entire process. By utilising sustainable materials and techniques, such as organic beeswax, deadstock yarn, re-purposed/recycled fabrics, as well as the use of water-soluble fabric. This played a vital role in regard to the waste output that has drastically been reduced throughout the development of this collection.
This collection emphasises anonymity by utilising military techniques that act as a protective layer allowing for maximum concealment.
