LEONORA MARK

LEONORA JAKOVLJEVIĆ
Born in 1964 in Postojna, Slovenia. Education: Studied at the Department for Textiles and Clothes Design, Faculty of Natural Sciences and Engineering, University of Ljubljana, and attended specialized training at Academia Domus in Milan/I. professional experience Since 1992 she has been experimenting in the field of art, i.e. in personal and group exhibitions and performances, under the artistic name of LEONORA MARK (Bitef Theatre, Belgrade; Museum of Modern Art, Ljubljana; Exit, New York; Art Salon, Celje; Kapelica Gallery, Ljubljana). Since 2001 she collaborates as a stylist with Oktober, from 2002 on she designs and leads the production of shoes and trimmings. In 2003 she decided to create her personal trademark: LEONORA MARK - ave femina and as a shoe designers productionand product manager she started to colaborate with other fashion desagniers 2006/07 she started to teach accessories design at University IUAV (University of architecture and design) of Venice.

LEONORA MARK is a unique design exclusively intended for demanding clients with highly elaborated standards in purchasing of shoes. The mellow aesthetic of her shoes radiates femininity and upholds self-confidence of every woman.
In the creative process Leonora Mark collaborates with fashion designers and occasionally even with individual clients and therefore her shoes bear the seal of exclusiveness, which is a particularly valuable feature in the time of global Uniformity.
