Nascent means being born or coming into existence for the first time. PICHULIK’s Spring Summer 2021 Nascent Collection is a celebration of the opportunity that this regenerative force provides. Like the sesen, the lotus flower depicted in ancient Egyptian artworks symbolic of creation and rebirth, we too can emerge at daybreak wading through the mud and water to greet the sun.

The palette and materials are elemental and primordial: raw lava stone and natural rope combined with burnished brass, silver and peacock pearls set against night sky blue and mercurial silver rope.
