NEON in BLACk is inspired from Sir William Ramsey who asked his 13 year old son for a name suggestion when he discovered the chemical element Ne 1898. He answered: "Novium" because it is "New". Ramsey, liking the idea and in following with tradition, chose the Greek alternative "Neon" meaning ''new one''. My collection is about finding the new black incorporating neon colors with black materials of different weight.
