Spring/Summer 2012 was inspired by the plaster works of art by Meredith Dittmar. The angular framed sculptures create pastel coloured melancholic worlds where humans, animals and plants morph and intertwines into a union of biology and a deep consciousness. We tried to capture the essence of each of the selected work and we translated the pastel colours and geometric shapes into velvets ribbons and silk velvet delicately hand-sewn onto rigid fabrics made by connecting elastic bands to create unique fabrics for each silhouette.
