Tadao Ando

From the work of japanese architect, Tadao Ando I got inspired by the contrast of the nature and his buildings. Design of my collection was based on this contrast. I revived the grey geometric concrete buildings in wool cloth, counterbalancing this I worked with soft see though fabrics with powerful colours. The stiffness of the wool made it possible to keep the hard geometrical shape; the soft tulle and freeness of organza created an organic impression. I transplanted the architect’s detail works into sewing techniques, therefore my sew less coat was made by heat pressing and punching.
